What happens if a subscription payment fails

Updated July 4, 2026

Cards expire and renewals bounce — it happens. KitchenRush is deliberately gentle about it: a failed subscription payment puts your account past due, and your website and ordering stay fully live while you sort it out.

  1. Open Billing — the status badge shows the past-due state.
  2. Use Manage payment & invoices to update the card on file.
  3. Stripe retries the charge; once it succeeds your status returns to active.
Heads up: Don't leave it indefinitely — an account that stays unpaid will eventually pause, the same way an expired trial does. Fixing the card while you're past due avoids any interruption at all.
