Themes, dayparts, and the ticker

Updated July 4, 2026

The reliable control for the browser menu board is the Theme — that's what changes the live board today. Here's the honest picture of all three tabs.

Theme (drives the live board)

The Theme tab is where you set the board's look. You edit its colors directly — Accent, Secondary Accent, Background, Surface, Cards, Text, and Heading — then hit Save Theme. Contrast is validated server-side so the board stays readable from across the room, and saved changes show up on the board.

Dayparts and Ticker (set expectations)

The Dayparts and Ticker tabs let you configure time-of-day menu windows and custom scrolling messages. Be aware, though, that the browser menu board today renders your full published catalog and shows a ticker built automatically from your business info (hours, delivery) — it doesn't yet apply daypart scheduling or your custom Ticker-tab messages. So set them up if you like, but don't rely on them changing the browser board yet.
