Schedule shifts

Updated July 4, 2026

The Schedule tab in Labor (part of the Growth plan) is a week-at-a-glance shift grid: pick a day, lay shifts onto your employees, and keep an eye on the KPI row as the labor cost adds up.

  • Build it out, then publish — arrange the week freely, then hit Publish to make it official and notify the team. (Publish marks it final and sends the alerts; it isn't a strict privacy wall, so staff with schedule access can see in-progress shifts — so publish once the week is set.)
  • The KPI row keeps you honest — watch scheduled hours and cost while you build instead of discovering the total after.
  • Employees carry their hourly rate (set on the employee record in the Employees tab), which is what makes the cost math real — the schedule multiplies each shift's hours by that saved rate.

Note: On the Pro plan, scheduling adds demand-forecast intelligence — staffing suggestions driven by predicted sales. On Growth, the full manual scheduling toolkit above is yours.
