Understand pricing, fees, and billing
Updated July 4, 2026
KitchenRush's own pricing is two simple charges: a monthly subscription for the platform, and a 5% platform fee on card orders. (Card payments also carry the standard Stripe processing fee — Stripe's own per-charge card-processing cost, deducted by Stripe, separate from KitchenRush's fee.) Here's exactly how each one works.
Your subscription
- Starter — $99/month.
- Growth — $249/month. Adds things like the branded mobile app, display boards, staff scheduling, and loyalty.
- Pro — $449/month. Adds inventory, P&L, advanced analytics, and multi-location management.
Pay annually and you get two months free — the annual price is ten times the monthly price. Your 30-day trial is free with full access, and you pick a plan when it ends.
The 5% platform fee
When a customer pays by card — online or keyed in at your register — KitchenRush takes a 5% fee on the food subtotal only. Tax, tip, and delivery fees are never included in the fee calculation — those pass through untouched.
- Example: a $40.00 food order with $3.30 tax and a $6.00 tip → the fee is 5% of $40.00 = $2.00.
- Cash orders (paid at the counter or on delivery) aren't processed by KitchenRush, so no platform fee is deducted from them.
Where to manage billing
The Billing section shows your current plan, billing cycle, next billing date, payment method, and invoice history — and it's where you upgrade or change plans. Payout-side costs (like the optional instant payout fee — 1.5% with a $0.50 minimum) live in Payments & Payouts.
